About Jailserver.net
Jailserver.net was started by Andrew Boring, a 10 year veteran if the I.T. industry in Atlanta, Georgia.
Jailserver.net aims to provide low-cost FreeBSD servers running in a virtualized environment, giving customers the full flexibility of having their own partially-managed server without the full cost of a dedicated server colocation or rental.
Using a jailserver from Jailserver.net, a customer can:
- run a subversion repository to manage source code for an open-source project,
- set up a website, blog, wiki, content management system, etc
- operate a "backup" email or DNS server,
- port an application to FreeBSD
- learn the FreeBSD operating system
- develop applications using Python, Ruby, Perl, PHP, etc
- and more!
Jailserver.net is independently-owned and operated for profit, and is not affiliated with the FreeBSD project.
